NEWS: Application window for new Access Points now open
The Reach Fund, the grant programme designed to help charities and social enterprises access social investment, has re-opened applications for social investors to become approved Access Points.
The Reach Fund, funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment, and managed by Social Investment Business, is specifically designed to work closely with social investors to help charities and social enterprises gain investment.
When the fund was launched in October last year ten social investors were signed up as Access Points. Now that the initial pilot phase of the fund is almost complete, applications for new Access Points are being accepted.
Once approved, Access Points can refer charities and social enterprises that they want to invest in, but who are not yet ‘investment ready’, to the programme for grants of up to £15,000.
Deborah Smart, Head of Grant Programmes, Social Investment Business said:
“As we’re now nearing the end of the first phase of the fund we want to sign up more social investors as Access Points. We hope this will help more charities and social enterprises access the targeted support they need to help them raise investment.”
Applications from prospective Access Points will be accepted until midday on Wednesday 22nd March. If you would like to become an Access Point please request an application form.
